M.M. Hryshko National Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is a scientific and research institution for the design and creation of new botanical gardens and parks, the development of the scientific foundations of biodiversity protection, landscaping, and phytodesign of enterprises and organizations, as well as other areas of theoretical and applied botany. The garden features eight scientific departments and a collection of about 11,180 taxa. Its signature attraction is the Syringarium, a lilac collection that is the second-largest in the world, attracting numerous visitors during its blooming season.
