Kyiv Academic Theatre on Pechersk

The Kyiv Academic Theater on Pechersk was founded by graduates of the Kyiv National University of Theater, Film, and Television. Under the guidance of Mykola Rushkovsky, these actors, who had initially begun collaborating during their university years, came together after graduation to establish a new theater. This theater quickly gained recognition for its innovative approach and unique productions, showcasing 26 plays and participating in numerous European festivals. The theater's distinctive combination of acting, music, light, and shadow creates a powerful emotional experience for the audience, offering a fresh perspective on the art of theater.
