The Kyiv Academic Drama and Comedy Theater, located on the Left Bank of the Dnipro River, is a theater in Kyiv that was founded in the late 1970s. It officially opened its doors on December 21, 1990. The theater has toured numerous cities across Ukraine and has participated in international festivals, including the "White Tower" in Brest and the "Golden Lion" in Lviv, among others. Its performances have also showcased Ukrainian culture on the international stage, particularly in Paris and Nancy. Today, the theater features more than 50 plays in its repertoire, a busy schedule of premieres, a talented ensemble of some of the country’s best actors, and ambitious plans for the future will definitely be realized.
