Khreshchatyi Park

The Khreshchatyi Park is a park in Kyiv, a monument of the garden and park art of local significance. It is located near Yevropeiska Square, on the slopes of the Dnieper River, along Volodymyrskyi Descent. The area is 11.8 hectares. Khreshchatyi Park has more than 30 species of trees and bushes. It is a great place to relax and has long been a favourite of Kyiv residents. The observation deck on the park's territory offers wonderful views of Podil, Trukhaniv Island, and the Livoberezhzhia. In the center of the observation deck is a giant arch, and in front of it is an amphitheatre with benches. There is also a "bridge of lovers" in the park, and the famous sculpture "Love Story" is installed in front of the bridge.
