The Kyiv Contemporary Art Center "Dakh" opened on November 12, 1994. Located in an intimate space with a 100-seat hall, it became a legendary studio venue in the capital. The theater gave rise to music groups such as DakhaBrakha, Dakh Daughters, and TseSho. The GogolFest theater festival also originated at the Centre for Contemporary Art. Among the theater's projects are "Stus: Passerby", "Tychyna. Phenomenon of the Era", "Doghouse", and many others.
