Museum of Maria Zankovetska

The Maria Zankovetska Museum, located in Kyiv, is part of the Museum of Theater, Music, and Cinema of Ukraine. It was established based on a collection that the renowned Ukrainian actress Maria Kostiantynivna Zankovetska began assembling in 1923. Zankovetska was a leading figure in Ukrainian theater during the late 19th and early 20th centuries, celebrated for her roles in numerous dramatic works. The museum's collection includes photographs of the actress, her manuscripts, playbills, scenes from theatrical productions, a collection of stage costumes, paintings, as well as personal belongings and furniture that belonged to Zankovetska.
