The Museum of Cosmonautics, founded on April 27, 1991, is situated within the Kyiv Planetarium and stands as one of the largest scientific and educational centers dedicated to astronautics in Ukraine. The museum was established through the passion of veterans from the space industry, and its collection features unique exhibits that showcase the history of both domestic and international cosmonautics. Additionally, the museum boasts an extensive video library containing films, literature, and materials that cover both the history and current state of the space industry. Notable highlights include photographs of the first satellite and a model of the "Myr" space station. The museum serves not only as an important scientific institution but also as a community hub for veterans and space enthusiasts, frequently hosting meetings and excursions. Despite various challenges, the museum continues to grow and expand its collection, solidifying its role as a significant center for space education and culture.
