The Mystetskyi Arsenal National Art and Culture Museum Complex is a culture and art museum complex in Kyiv. It is located on the territory of the Old Pechersk Fortress, at the intersection of Lavrska Street and Tsytadelna Street. On the territory of the Mysteskyi Arsenal, there is the Small Gallery, which presents young Ukrainian art, as well as chamber projects of leading domestic artists. Since 2005, the Arsenal has become a cultural and artistic institution. Today, in parallel with the holding of exhibitions, the restoration of the premises continues and work is underway to create a modern museum complex that will present the history of Ukrainian art from ancient times to the present, will host collections of masterpieces from the worlds leading museums, and will become a powerful center for the development of creative initiatives. The total area of the Arsenal reaches 60,000 sq. m, from 12,000 to 24,000 sq. m are used now. One of its key goals is to promote creative initiatives, popularize Ukrainian culture, and foster cultural dialogue on an international level.
