This main architectural feature of the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi railway station blends Ukrainian Baroque and Constructivist elements. Construction of the railway station spanned the years 1927 and 1932. Between 1967-1969, a canopy was constructed over the first platform and a pedestrian gallery to the tenth track. The station has undergone multiple renovations, most notably in 2001, when Soviet symbols were removed. Serving thousands of passengers daily, it remains a vital transportation hub in Ukraine.
