Kyiv thanks sister cities for partnership in challenging times

Kyiv thanks sister cities for partnership in challenging times

Kyiv expresses gratitude to its sister cities for their support during the war. A 3D installation near the Kyiv City State Administration has been updated to symbolize the friendship and collaboration of the capital with 70 partner cities. This serves as a token of appreciation for humanitarian aid, funding of social projects, and assistance in rebuilding infrastructure.

A 3D installation near the Kyiv City State Administration has been updated to highlight Kyiv's partnerships with its sister cities. This was reported by the Tourism and Promotions Department of the Kyiv City State Administration.

“During the full-scale invasion, international cooperation has become a crucial tool in supporting our country, particularly through the active assistance of Kyiv's sister cities. Thanks to their contributions in the form of humanitarian aid, funding for social projects, and initiatives to rebuild infrastructure, Kyiv has received significant support during the most difficult times,” stated the department.

As a gesture of gratitude, the city has installed a 3D structure dedicated to its sister cities, symbolizing friendship and mutual support. Currently, Kyiv has 70 sister cities and intends to continue building partnerships, with the installation allowing for the addition of new cities in the future.

The installation was made possible with the support of Kyiv City Council Deputy Alla Shlapak.
