Zaporizhzhia joins the all-Ukrainian flashmob "1 000 000 trees in Ukraine a day". The Flashmob will be held as part of a worldwide initiative to plant 100 million new trees across the globe.
The idea of all - Ukrainian flashmob belongs to the Kiev Business Union and the National Record Book of Ukraine project.
The purpose of the event is to restore the country's natural resources and to draw public attention to global environmental issues.
It is planned to plant 10,000 new trees of various varieties in Zaporizhzhia. It is planned to allocate more than 1 million UAH from the city budget for the purchase of plantations. A tree plan is being discussed and approved. Preferably, trees will be planted in each area of the city where new squares are provided. A global tree planting is scheduled for March 20.
Every citizen of the city can join the city initiative.
