A press conference was held today on festive events and locations on the island of Khortytsia. The press conference was attended by Oleksandr Starukh, Head of the Zaporizhia Regional State Administration, Zlata Nekrasova, Deputy Head of the ZODA, Anatoliy Kurtev, Secretary of the Zaporizhia City Council, and Maksym Ostapenko, Director of the Khortytsia National Reserve.
This year, New Year's celebrations will take place in several locations, including the island of Khortytsia.

On December 18, a Christmas and New Year town with a Christmas tree, a house of St. Nicholas, themed photo zones, food courts, souvenir shops and other entertainment will be opened on the territory of the Cossack Circle.
A stage with a large screen will also be installed at the location. It will host concerts, performances by theater, music, choreographic groups, games and competitions. New Year's cartoons and themed Christmas movies will be broadcast on the screen.
Guests of the town will be greeted by fairy tale characters and assistants of St. Nicholas. There will be a magical location for children, where they can write a letter or draw a postcard for St. Nicholas and put it in the mailbox. Also, the youngest guests will be able to get acquainted with St. Nicholas himself in his residence, communicate, make wishes and take holiday photos.
