The popular home reservation service is now available in Ukrainian. The resource added 31 more languages to the list, making it even more accessible to more than 4 billion native speakers.
Since its inception in 2008, Airbnb has expanded the geography of its users to 191 countries. The hosts and guests from these countries speak hundreds of languages. However, only 31 languages were available to Airbnb at the time, which sometimes limited the ease of use of the platform.
However, this is changing now. Airbnb has announced that it doubles the number of languages supported by the platform from 31 to 62. Airbnb has said that this will make the site even more accessible to more than 4 billion native speakers. The changes will not only be limited by guest support, it will also open up new opportunities for owners who can add objects to their site in their native language.
