Did you know that the first Zaporizhzhia tram start working in 1932? The wooden motor-car under the direction of Jacob Kutsevol first carried passengers on 17 July, from Freedom Square to the dam of Dniproges.
On the first day, 10,000 passengers were transported, the fare was 3 pennies.
And on 30 September, 1934 the regular tram traffic started along the Dniproges dam. Initially, there was only one tram car. His route began from the stop of the House of Public Organizations to the right bank. It was not a roundabout, the tram went first in one direction along the dam, then - in the opposite direction.
