A modern museum complex and park will appear in Khortytsia

The project of reconstruction and development of Khortytsia National Reserve will increase the number of tourists to 1 million. The program envisages the creation of an eco-park and a major renovation of the museum complex

The project of reconstruction and development of Khortytsia National Reserve was presented in Zaporizhzhia back in April. Today the plan of overhaul and expansion of the Museum of the History of Zaporizhzhia Cossacks, as well as the reconstruction of the adjacent territory, has been developed.

For the first time, the tourist and museum infrastructure will be updated on the territory of the reserve.

Attention will also be paid to the development of transport connections, and the Taras Shevchenko Park, located in the northern part of the island, is undergoing changes. The new eco-park should become an attractive and unique resting place for locals and guests of Zaporizhzhia.

Khortytsia Island and the historical and cultural complex "Zaporizhzhia Sich" are traditionally the most popular tourist attraction of our city. Historic renovations, festivals that take place here are attracting more and more visitors every year. The renovation of the complex will make the territory more comfortable and realize the tourist potential taking into account the ecological component.
